Year round school is a terrible idea almost all kids think that it's a bad idea because we would rather have a big summer without a care in the world then have to worry about school all the time because it's to stressful your around jerks more often and it's proven that students are more likely to commit suicide in year round school and this is why I think that it's a bad. Toby Thorn, a student at GCSE committed suicide. He took 3 months off from school uneplanatory, then he was forced to go back to school and soon after he committed suicide. He was overwhelmed with school work. This is similar to the pressures of year round school because you need the summer break to chill out and get yourself together. It has been proven that test scores do not increase kids in year-round school than kids out of year round school. Ohio State Research found out, “Over a full year, math and reading tests scores improved about the same as those who did not go to year-round schools.” This proves my point because theres no point in doing it if there’s no improvement. Pulse students would be grumpier because they don’t have a summer
